Edgecliff Inn is located at the entrance to Niagara Falls at Queen Street. Over looking the gorge this motel unfortunately suffers from poor maintenance, inadequate management, and neglect. There are many problems, neglected pool, unruly weeds and garbage, unreliable electrical connections and pests. Hopefully this honest review will spur the owner to make improvements and rescue the property from further deterioration. Potentially it could be rescued.
Really great place, the front desk service from Marlene was simply amazing. Being able to walk too the falls in less that 15 minutes was really great as well. The rooms were comfy and cooled well for the summer heat, would definitely recommend if you have pets you want to travel with.
So. It looks like new owners are having a go at. They are enthusiastic very friendly. I’m optimistic for the future and will book again. The rooms were clean and the location puts you to the end of the real downtown. A short walk to the Tap House Brewery and you’re right at the river as well. The room was a third the cost of Clifton Hill.
Awesome experience from the busy weekend of August 18th-20th! Very accommodating! Great rates! Was able to extend our little family's first Niagara Vacation thanks to great accommodating staff! Great location! So close to the bus terminal and attractions, yet the 5-10 mins walk to buses and main attractions is so perfect. Also, we loved the selection of movies to watch and our kids also loved the vhs's to choose from! Great fanily movies and kids movies too! Was so perfect for our family. Will book with them everytime we head to the falls now!
